I had this totally cool forest scene imagined with the little Kodoma and everything, and it turned to be craptiscally fail
Ah, Princess Mononoke. Amazing movie. It completely goes above and beyond anything else Miyazaki ever did. Gory, not for the faint of heart, but amazing. I still laugh when remembering my brother wincing everytime a head or limb get chopped off.
The Forest Spirit did freak me out a bit though. His eyes were SO WEIRD!!! I actually had a nightmare about him once just staring at me O.O' And my brother uses it to scare me now. He just comes behind me and whispers 'Forest Spirit~'
San is one of my favorite Ghibli Characters design-wise. I LOVE her outfit! And the Kodoma were fun to draw. I changed a layer opacity for the first time just to make the right effects for them.
